Fuel & Equipment Facilities
Fuel Station
Diesel and kerosene supplied to members at the harbour.
New diesel and kerosene pumps, repainted storage tanks and a fully renovated fuel store, reopened by the Chairman on 2 May 2025.
Fish Marketing
Fish Auction Complex
A modern, hygienic auction hall, stalls and jetty serving the Negombo fishing fleet.
Since 2018 the auction section has been transformed: a roofed, concrete-floored auction hall, 18 fish stalls and 5 shops, ice boxes, drainage, washrooms, a security booth, CCTV, a new jetty and repaired landing areas, plus a rest house for visiting fishermen.
Other Co-operative Services
Indiwara Fisheries Bank
The Society’s banking arm, serving members from a new building beside the auction ground.
A modern Indiwara Fisheries Bank building, opened in 2022/23, provides savings and credit services to the fishing community.
